My parents want to replace their wall mounted bathroom sink with a pedestal sink. The heater comes up through the corner of the floor and the wall, therefore the sink stand would be about 1' away from the heater vent. Is there a minimum distance the pedestal needs to be away from the vent?
I removed the old sink and cabinet. The drain pipe sticks out from the wall a good 4 inches or so. When we hook up the drain pipe from the sink to the pipe on the wall, it keep s the base of the pedestal far from the wall. When the sink part is mounted, it's still a good 3 inches from the wall! I don't see how we can fix this so the sink is flush with the wall...any ideas? Thanks!
Hi I am going to install a pedestal sink in my bathroom, however, aside from the screws that anchor the sink to the wall, is there any other sealant/caulk/glue I should buy that will ensure that the sink adheres properly to the wall so that it is firm and rigid (so it doesn't wobble while turning on the faucet etc)?
We have a small bathroom with a pedestal sink (door on one side, bathtub on other) with no counter and no wall space to hang shelves. Is there anyway to attach a shelf to a porcelain sink without drilling? It is an apartment so we cannot alter the sink. Thanks.
